…Vorstellung Vorstellung Ich promoviere seit März 2024 in der Gruppe Climate Surface Interaction am MPI-M. Das Ziel meiner Promotion ist zu erforschen, wie der Niederschlag über tropischem Land auf Erwärmung des Klimas reagiert. Dafür führe ich Simulationen mit dem ICON-Modell durch, das durch seine hohe Auflösung Effekte von Wolken und tiefer Konvektion explizit enthält, aber gleichzeitig globale Wechselwirkungen wie die Interaktion zwischen kontinentaler und ozeanischer Konvektion berücksichtigt.
