Tamara Emmerichs

My passion is our climate system. I want to understand how soil, vegetation and atmosphere interact to shape the climate. Thereby, I investigate various exchange processes (O3 deposition, transpiration, carbon uptake) between the land surface and atmosphere with different types of models and observation data. Here, I conduct global simulations with ICON-LAND/QUINCY and contribute to the model developement, focusing on carbon dynamics in the Arctic.
