Symposium and Senate Reception

The Senate Reception at Hamburg City Hall marks the ceremonial start of our anniversary year. On April 23, 2025, this special occasion will honor the 50-year history of our institute and highlight our outstanding scientific achievements. The Hamburg Senate invites a diverse audience to this reception, including members of the institute, long-standing scientific and political companions as well as supporters of the institute over the past decades.

The Senate reception will be preceded by a symposium on April 23 in the Saalhaus of the Patriotische Gesellschaft Hamburg. This event will provide an opportunity to look back on the development of the institute and to gain valuable insights into the past years. In addition to a review of important milestones, the focus will be on the future in order to discuss future paths and goals.

Both events are are open to invited guests. The exhibition in the Untere Rathausdiele (Grand Hallway of Hamburg City Hall) is open to everyone and will be opened on the same day. There will also be an extensive series of public events to which all interested parties are cordially invited.
