Research

I am a Ph.D. student researching land-atmospheric interactions, with a particular focus on the impact of abrupt land surface changes on climate. This field of study intrigues me as it presents an opportunity to explore sustainable development options in terms of land surface changes that can be controlled by humans for the climate change adaptation policies. Currently, I am trying to understand the influence of Amazon rainforest deforestation on forest sustainability, based on the analysis of the rainfall regime using the ICON storm-resolving global model.
