My research

I am a PhD student in the departement of climate physics, working with Bjorn Stevens and Hauke Schmidt. I focus mainly on the microphysics of cloud and their global impact on the climate.

Understanding water phase transitions occuring inside clouds is important for understanding the climate in general, and understanding the more general concept of phase transitions may also help to deepen our knowledge. For this reason, I am also involved in other research projects regarding the Mott and the Sordi transitions in the 2D Hubbard model from the stand point of triangular lattices, trying to provide the theoretical basis so that experimentalist may prove that the Sordi transition exist in real materials. This project was started under the supervision of André-Marie Tremblay of Université de Sherbrooke.
