Tech Talks: Job specific performance monitoring with ClusterCockpit
With this Tech Talk we introduce the new monitoring platform ClusterCockpit available to all Levante users at https://clustercockpit.dkrz.de. ClusterCockpit provides insights into time-resolved job performance, allowing for utilization and runtime improvement. Maximizing the efficiency of batch jobs may help to achive a higher output from granted compute time. The use of requested resources is illustrated by an intuitive visual depiction of measurements from hardware performance counters. Rich search and filtering capabilities aid in keeping track of test and production runs.
