Curriculum vitae

Dr.Schulz received his doctoral degree from the University of Hamburg in May 2019. He wrote his PhD thesis in the research group Turbulent Mixing Processes in the Earth System of Prof.Dr.Mellado at the Max-Planck-Institute of Meteorology. His PhD thesis is entitled "On the role of wind shear and cloud droplet sedimentation of entrainment in stratocumulus". For the time period  11/2015-05/2019 Dr.Schulz has also been a member of the International Max Planck Research School on Earth System Modelling.

Dr. Schulz graduated in physics at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2015. As Erasmus student he spent nearly a year at the Swansea University in Wales. He wrote his master thesis with the title ”Theoretical Modeling and Computer Simulations of the Coil-to-Globule Transition of Statistical Copolymers” in the research group of Prof.Dr.Joachim Dzubiella at the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin.
