Joint Seminar: Millennium simulations at MPI-M: Recent results and investigations in progress
I will first discuss long-term responses of winter regional climates to strong tropical volcanic eruptions, as simulated by the MPI-ESM. Then, I will present some initial results concerning simulated multidecadal variability during the last
millennium, in particular concerning the role of external forcings in phasing different modes of variability. I will also outline some more general ongoing activities related with the Millennium Project.
